Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?
As a matter of policy, we do not sign NDAs. 

How long will it take for you to respond to my submission?
If we have an interest in moving forward with your proposal, we will contact you within 20 business days after receiving your submission.

Will I be able to talk to someone at Strantia about my idea prior to submitting it?
Because we carefully review every submission we receive, we must spend our time in the most productive manner possible. While we certainly would enjoy the opportunity of talking with each entrepreneur prior to submission of an idea, it is not possible for us to do so.

Do you prefer to work with companies in your geographic region?
Like most venture capital firms, we prefer to invest in companies located near our own offices. For earlier stage businesses, we prefer ones located within a one-hour plane flight of our Hyderabad or Gurgaon offices. This increases the amount of time we can spend assisting them. For later stage companies, we are comfortable investing anywhere in India. If we receive a promising proposal which is well outside our region, we often will bring in a local partner with whom we have previously invested.

Who will review my submission?
Strantia realizes that preparing an organized business concept takes considerable time and effort, which is why we give consideration to every idea submitted. The Managing Directors have put together an extensive process to review all submissions, and assess each one's merit and compatibility with the strengths of our firm. Therefore, it is not necessary to direct your idea to any one particular individual at Strantia. However, if you were referred to Strantia by someone, it is important that you include that information in your cover letter.
